The Insurance Rehabilitation Research Institute is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and scientific research purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.
The Insurance Rehabilitation Research Institute’s purpose is to provide objective information about insurance rehabilitation related outcomes through a variety of empirical research, data collection, publication and educational presentations. The Institute is non-partisan and unbiased, and does not take positions on the issues that it researches.
The mission of the Institute is to provide the public with high-quality research on relevant issues affecting the rehabilitation of individuals involved in insurance-based rehabilitation programs.
Our programs include data collection, original and collaborative research of important issues pertaining to insurance rehabilitation programs (for example, return to work outcomes, post-injury employability and wage earning capacity, cross-industry comparisons, etc.), program evaluation, presentation of findings to public policy makers, insurance rehabilitation administrators, or groups interested in insurance rehabilitation, and scientific publications and research briefs.
